Charlee Morton, who recently completed her sophomore year at Hampton-Dumont-CAL in Iowa, placed second in the girls 15-16 division shot put final with an opening-round mark of 41-6.50 (12.66m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
