Charlee Morton, a sophomore at Hampton-Dumont-CAL, won the girls shot put with a second-round performance of 43-3.50 (13.19m) at the 113th Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Morton became the first female athlete to sweep the shot put and discus throw in the same year at the Drake Relays since Jamie Kofron of Tipton achieved the feat in 2018 and 2019.
